About Course

The surveillance camera installation training by Nematek Solutions provides learners with the practical skills required to deploy, configure, and maintain video surveillance systems, suitable for both residential and professional environments.  It enables you to acquire the skills necessary to install, configure, and troubleshoot modern video surveillance systems: IP cameras, analog cameras, NVRs, DVRs, network recorders, storage, remote management, and security. This training combines theory and practice to make you capable of installing a complete system in a company, a store, a home, or an industrial site.

What Will You Learn?

  • At the end of this training, you will be able to:
  • Identify the different types of cameras: IP, analog, PTZ, dome, bullet.
  • Install a complete system: cameras, cables, NVR/DVR, router.
  • Configure an IP camera, ports, IP addresses, and network access.
  • Set up an NVR/DVR, storage, motion detection, and alerts.
  • Understand power supplies: PoE, adapters, injectors.
  • Set up remote access via Internet (P2P / public IP).
  • Mount and secure cameras indoors and outdoors.
  • Manage system security (passwords, updates).
  • Troubleshoot common issues: black screen, network, recording.
  • Advise a client on choosing a system suited to their needs.
