About Course

The Surveillance Camera Installation training enables you to acquire the skills necessary to install, configure, and troubleshoot modern video surveillance systems: IP cameras, analog cameras, NVRs, DVRs, network recorders, storage, remote management, and security. This training combines theory and practice to make you capable of installing a complete system in a company, a store, a home, or an industrial site.

What Will You Learn?

  • At the end of this training, you will be able to:
  • Identify the different types of cameras: IP, analog, PTZ, dome, bullet.
  • Install a complete system: cameras, cables, NVR/DVR, router.
  • Configure an IP camera, ports, IP addresses, and network access.
  • Set up an NVR/DVR, storage, motion detection, and alerts.
  • Understand power supplies: PoE, adapters, injectors.
  • Set up remote access via Internet (P2P / public IP).
  • Mount and secure cameras indoors and outdoors.
  • Manage system security (passwords, updates).
  • Troubleshoot common issues: black screen, network, recording.
  • Advise a client on choosing a system suited to their needs.
