Nematek Njangi
The njangi as it is already practised, kept properly.
This product is not available and no date is announced. This page describes what we are building and why.
What happens without it
The njangi works, and has for a long time. What does not work is the notebook: contributions, turns and late payments are written by hand, by one person, and everyone depends on their memory and availability.
Disagreements are rarely about the rules. They are about who paid, when, and how far behind someone is.
What the product is meant to do
Keeping the njangi without changing it: the same rules, the same group, the same trust — but accounts anyone can consult instead of having to ask for them.
What we are building
Njangi groups, tontines and savings associations already keeping accounts — and the person who keeps them.
- 01
Contributions, turns and the running order kept automatically, visible to every member.
- 02
Contribution reminders sent on the group’s own channel, without the treasurer chasing one person at a time.
- 03
A history that survives a change of treasurer and a lost notebook.
We will write when it is real
No newsletter, no chasing. One message when the product is usable — and, before that, possibly a question about what you would need. What you write below shapes what gets built.
